About Our U3A
Following an inaugural meeting ASTON CLINTON U3A (ACU3A) was formally constituted on 8th February 2006 and run (initially) by a Steering Committee with an initial membership of 85 and 21 Interest Groups. The ACU3A was formally admitted to The Third Age Trust on 15th May 2006 and granted charitable status (with registered number 1115424) on 19th July 2006. Currently, there are some 240 members with 25 groups.
Catchment Area
Our members come from a wide area. Whilst most are from Aston Clinton and Aylesbury there are some from Aldbury, Aston Abbotts, Berkhamstead, Bierton, Bishopstone, Buckland, Butlers Cross, Chesham Bois, Chivery, Dancers End, Drayton Beauchamp, Hazelmere, Ivinghoe, Little Kingshill, Marsworth, Oving, Pitstone, Stoke Mandeville, Tring, Weedon, Wendover, Weston Turville and Wilstone.
Govenance
We have a written constitution, an elected committee and each February we have an AGM. For further information click here.
Membership Costs
Annual members cost is £15. If you are a standard rate payer of Income Tax, Gift Aid relief could apply to your yearly subscription. If so you should make sure the relevant box is ticked on the membership form as this will significantly add to our income.

Monthly Meetings
Our monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month, 2.30 to 4.30pm. All meetings (except for the AGM in February) have general announcements, refreshments and a talk on a subject of general interest. What our members do
In addition to the main meeting, there are over 20 groups interested in a wide range of topics, We hold several general trips each year and hold social events such as an outing to a local restaurant. Click here for more information.
